Wear your drinking shoes for this one. The premise of this event is to establish 8 different stations with beers and/or cocktails represented by the country of their origin. Using butcher paper, event helpers need to craft eight 3 ft x 5 ft signs out of butcher paper. Each sign is painted with the colors of the country’s flag associated with the beer/cocktail. For example, the Tequila station would have Mexico’s flag behind it. Each station requires a host, preferably someone that has knowledge of the beer or liquor they are pouring.
Each host should have a different color bracelet (yarn is cheapest) given to each guest that visits their station. Guests that complete all 8 station visits, as observed by eight colored bracelets on their wrist, are given a prize. We had shirts that said ‘I drank myself around the world – 8 countries, one night’. This event may be well served as a wine tasting, or beer/liquor tasting. Be safe, be responsible.
